How do you get a pet frog to eat dead crickets or grasshoppers?
I own a Southern Leopard frog…a lot like a tree frog and I bought canned crickets and grasshoppers and can not get the frog to eat them. The lady at the pet store said that I should try and hold it out to the frog but it hasn’t worked…please help me please! Is there any way to get my frog to eat them without buying live ones????

Reptiles and amphibians detect motion and prefer live food. You can try a vibrating plate of food, but still unable to work.
dig up some earthworms from the garden, you can enter (live) in the same dish, like the canned stuff and see what happens.
There is a vibrating plate of food on the market – you can give that a try. You can try offering them on the long handled tweezers, and making them zombies "walking" around. It is doubtful your frog will never learn to eat not only the tricks, though. You are much better just to feed live crickets dusted with calcium powder. You can buy them at the pet store, and kai.An none of these tricks do not work, you must feed live. If you can not stand living insects. . . a frog is a bad choice for a pet, lol.
Frog you need live food, plain and simple. Feed crickets, waxworms, earthworms and silkworms.
and try moving a little more.
